Cheryl Meriot

PCC (ICF), M.NPN., CEC, CPC, CCHt.

Cheryl Meriot works with physician leaders and medical directors whose competence isn’t in question, their authority under pressure is. Using neuroscience-based identity work rather than mindset or productivity frameworks, she helps high-performing physicians rebuild the internal wiring that lets them lead from settled authority instead of constant self-management. The result is leadership that holds under sustained clinical and organizational pressure, without the cost of burnout or second-guessing every call.

Expertise: Neuro-Executive Performance, Identity-Level Confidence Rewiring, Physician Leadership, Imposter Syndrome Resolution, Nervous System Regulation, High-Stakes Decision Leadership, Restorative Team and Departmental Coaching

Cheryl has been a professional coach since 1998, long before coaching was a formalized profession. She brought that depth of experience into healthcare leadership in 2014, coaching medical leaders through critical transitions, high-stakes decision-making, and organizational conflict, working directly inside the pressures unique to healthcare: competing accountabilities, disruptive behavior patterns, and the erosion of capacity that comes from years of operating at full output with no margin.

Cheryl brings a restorative lens to team and departmental coaching, working with physician leaders and clinical teams to rebuild trust and stabilize communication at the team level.

Cheryl is a contributing author in Cracking the Rich Code, Volume 17 (May 2025), an international best-selling business and coaching anthology published across Australia, Canada, the US, and the UK.

Mantra:
Restoring capacity. Not managing it.
