Dawn Martin
PhD, MEd, MSW, RSW
For over 35 years, Dawn has been working extensively with practising physicians identified as needing additional assistance with communication, professionalism, collaboration and leadership. Referral sources include Regulatory bodies, Canadian Medical Protective Association, hospital leadership and self-referrals. Dawn’s professional background in clinical psychiatry, addictions, and counseling has proven invaluable when assessing individuals’ needs and formulating appropriate learning plans. In her role as a PhD educator for over 10 years with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, she was the lead coach for struggling residents across the specialties and actively involved in research and curriculum development.
Relational Competence focused on self/relational/situational/organizational awareness and management underpins her approach to working with others. In the last few years, Leadership and Team coaching has become a large part of her practice.
