She brings a wealth of expertise to the table, empowering leaders to overcome their challenges and reach new heights in their leadership journey. With almost 30 years of experience as a physician, Salima has held prominent leadership roles, including Deputy Chief of Department and Medical Director of the Day Hospital. In these positions, she successfully led a 50% program expansion, demonstrating her strategic and operational acumen. Salima’s leadership experience required her to communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, an essential skill for any leader. Currently, Salima also contributes her expertise as a physician at the Bruyere Memory Program and as a professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Her multifaceted experience equips her with a profound understanding of the complexities leaders face in today’s dynamic environments.
